I can do it!!

As you can see Alex in concentrating very hard he has the look of pure determination which he gets often when he wants something. It is hard to believe he is going to be a year old in less then a month. He weighs 19.50 lbs and he is 27 inches long but no one knows for sure since they can not hold him down long enough to get an accurate measurement. I wanted to thank all of you for your prayers during Alex's testing last month the test came back negative. Thank god and we are still trying to figure out the cause. We will keep you posted!! We wish you all a happy and safe holiday!!

Thanksgiving in North Carolina 2007

Alex and I had quite the whirlwind of a month. We went to Seattle solo the flight there semed very long I recommend a red eye when traveling with a toddler cross country back home was much smoother. Then for a 14 hour car ride to North Carolina for Thanksgiving a day later. We were quite busy but we had fun seeing everyone.

Alex got a shinny new red soccer ball courtesy of Uncle Danny they had a great time playing with it in the restaurant and I am still not sure who had more fun.

Great grandma got Alex some warm clothes for his arrival in Seattle and he was happy to model them. He also learned from great grandpa about horsey rides which he loves.

Alex had alot of fun at the museum he was every where!! He is getting a little to quick of rthe digital. Let's just say I have several pictures of his back!! ;o)

St. Pete's Beach

We went to Marshall's 10 year class reunion from Admiral Farragut. This is the beach behind the resort we stayed at. Alex loved the beach he had so much fun.

Mama's little monkey

Alex was a monkey this year for Halloween. We took him out Trick or Treating on Harrison Street which is where all the kids go. His favorite treat was a frozen juice pop (only in Florida)

We took Alex to the Pumpkin Patch in our neighborhood. He paid more attention to the hay then the pumpkins.

Look at me grow

Alex is 9 months old and he is a walking fool!! He is running mommy around and around and around. Life sure does change once they start walking. He has 4 teeth now we are still missing the two front ones but I think they may be coming he seems to be drooling a little more then normal. He just got his 9 month shots and he weighted in at 18.25 pounds and he is 26 1/2 inches long.

As you can see he is a fan of the Red Vines!!

Alex is turning 9 months old in two days and he is walking where he wants when he wants it is crazy how fast it happens. Tomorrow is Columbus Day and we are going to go shopping with Jen and Blake on the list is a new pair of shoes for the litle guy I am not sure who is more excited...ha..ha.

We went to the church in our neighborhood and it was very nice Alex was a big hit as usual they said he is a shoe in for baby Jesus this year. We also met a nice new couple that live a street over from us they just moved here from Virginia we had wine with them tonight and she took some cute pics of Alex terrorizing their house since it is not quite baby proof yet those pics to follow.

Alex is growing and everyday is so exciting with him he makes me laugh so much!!

He took his first steps all by himself last week...he is getting braver and braver by the day and we are getting our fair share of bums, bruises. Alex is also getting two more teeth on the top not the two front ones but the ones on both sides and let's just say that has been real fun. Alex has also decided he is done with any food he can not feed himself as you can imagine I am mopping daily around his eating area and finding food in some pretty crazy areas around the kitchen!

All is well here is South Florida it finally stopped raining I think Alex and I were getting a little stir crazy in the house.

As you can see Alex gets very excited when he is coming in for the attack!!

Alex is an old pro with his new little cart he pushes the thing around everywhere I am proud to say there have only been a few tumbles off the ledge thus far but the braver he gets the more I am chasing him!!

Currently 8 months old today!! I have been a little under the weather for a while now I was supposed to start my swim lessons this last week but had to delay it because I have had a mild case of the croup hopefully at my Dr's appointment this week they will clear me for class.

Life has been good here I am on the verge of walking I got this new walking device/car and I am getting the hang of it pretty fast. I am still awaiting my top two teeth!!
